A walk in the old town to taste the best wines of Verona in the traditional “osterias” of the old town.
Through medieval alleys and paths not beaten by tourists, we will discover the hidden corners of the old Verona and stop in 4 different taverns.
Each stop will correspond to a wine and its territory of reference. We will start with the bubbles of the local Prosecco-style Durello, a fresh sparkling wine, produced on the slopes of the local mountains and perfect as summer aperitif. We will continue with the “volcanic” Soave, a mineral and delicate white wine, with a characteristic almond aftertaste. On the other hand, Cherry fruit is the signature flavor of the famous local red wines: in the fresh Valpolicella you can taste sour cherry aroma while in the Amarone the bouquet is much more complex with hints of cherry jam, vanilla, spices, coffee and tobacco.
Guided by an expert sommelier, you will explore the local side of the city and the Verona wines tasting will be enriched by curiosities and detailed explanations.
